What We Do
CFNA Financing Apply is a marketing and lead generation service that connects borrowers with potential lenders in our network. We are NOT a direct lender.
What This Means
- We do not make credit decisions
- We do not fund loans directly
- We do not guarantee loan approval
- Final loan terms are determined by individual lenders
- Each lender has their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies
Our Role
We provide:
- Online application platform
- Connection to licensed lenders
- Educational resources about auto repair financing
- Customer support for the application process
2. Eligibility Requirements
To use our services and apply for financing, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama, Nebraska, and some other states)
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- Reside in a state where we operate (see our States We Serve page)
- Have a valid email address and phone number
- Have an active checking or savings account
- Have verifiable income
- Not be active military (unless opting into MLA-compliant products)
3. The Application Process
Submitting Your Application
When you submit an application:
- You authorize us to share your information with lenders in our network
- You consent to lenders verifying your information
- You agree that lenders may perform credit checks (soft or hard)
- You understand that submitting an application does not guarantee approval
Information Accuracy
You agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, and complete information
- Update information promptly if it changes
- Not misrepresent your identity, income, or other details
- Not apply on behalf of another person
Important: Providing false information may result in:
- Immediate application denial
- Termination of services
- Legal action for fraud
- Criminal prosecution in some cases
4. Loan Terms & Conditions
Loan Amounts
Loans range from $500 to $5,000, subject to:
- Lender approval
- State regulations
- Your income and creditworthiness
- Debt-to-income ratio
Interest Rates (APR)
Annual Percentage Rates typically range from 29.99% to 35.99% but may vary based on:
- Your state of residence
- Lender policies
- Loan amount and term
- Your credit profile
Your specific APR will be disclosed before you accept any loan.
Loan Terms
Repayment terms typically range from 3 to 24 months. Your specific term will depend on:
- Loan amount
- State regulations
- Lender policies
- Your preference (where options exist)
Fees
Potential fees include:
- Origination fees (typically 0-5% of loan amount)
- Late payment fees
- Returned payment (NSF) fees
- Early payoff fees (rare - most lenders don't charge this)
All fees will be clearly disclosed in your loan agreement.
5. Repayment Obligations
Your Responsibilities
If you accept a loan, you agree to:
- Repay the full loan amount plus interest and fees
- Make payments on time according to your agreement
- Maintain sufficient funds in your bank account
- Notify your lender of any payment issues immediately
Payment Methods
Most lenders use automatic ACH withdrawals from your bank account. You authorize:
- Automatic debits on scheduled payment dates
- Lender to re-attempt failed payments
- Fees for returned payments
Consequences of Non-Payment
Failure to repay your loan may result in:
- Late fees and penalties
- Additional interest charges
- Negative credit reporting
- Collection agency referral
- Legal action
- Wage garnishment (if legally permitted)
- Bank account levies
6. State Availability & Regulations
Our services are not available in all states. Current exclusions:
- Arkansas
- Connecticut
- New York
- Vermont
- West Virginia
- Washington D.C.
State laws govern:
- Maximum loan amounts
- Interest rate caps
- Loan term restrictions
- Fee limitations
- Collection practices
Your loan will comply with the laws of your state of residence.
7. Military Lending Act (MLA) Compliance
Active duty military members and their dependents are protected by the Military Lending Act, which:
- Caps APR at 36% (including all fees)
- Prohibits mandatory arbitration
- Prohibits waiver of certain rights
- Requires specific disclosures
We comply with all MLA requirements for covered borrowers.
8. Website Use & Intellectual Property
License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for personal use.
Prohibited Uses
You may NOT:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the site
- Attempt to hack or compromise our systems
- Submit fraudulent applications
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate another person
- Interfere with other users' access
Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and materials on our website are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

- Funding timeframes
- Availability of services at all times
"As Is" Service
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Lost profits or revenues
- Data loss or corruption
- Actions of third-party lenders
- Website interruptions or errors
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CFNA Financing Apply, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Your use of our services
11. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Binding Arbitration
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for:

Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Class Action Waiver
You agree to pursue claims individually and waive the right to participate in class actions, collective actions, or representative proceedings.
Opt-Out Right

12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for:

- Fraudulent activity
- Misuse of services
- Legal requirements
You may terminate your use at any time by ceasing to use our services.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent website notice.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CFNA Financing Apply.
